Evelyn Peralta is a first-generation Mexican American director, seamstress, designer, and actress. She recently graduated from Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She currently attends University of Houston to obtain a BFA in Theatre Education. She recently debuted at the University of Houston for her role as Child/Page in Rumpelstiltskin. She directed Booker T Washington HSPVA Hispanic Heritage Show, Sin Escape, making it a student directed, collaborative and mix media production at BTW. Some of her directing, costume, and acting credits include; Stop Kiss, The Revolutionists, Mamma Mia!, Antigone Now, Black to the Future and Queen of the North. Evelyn's biggest goal is to grow in her art as well as uphold the highest standards in arts education. Evelyn continues to create art that addresses women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, immigration, and a variety of other social concerns in the world.
